When I started looking at telescopic images of space, I was mesmerized by the glittery, impossible beauty of it—the starscapes, galaxies, dreamy colors, and light swirling together across distances I can't begin to comprehend.

And we're here, somehow. Tiny pieces of stardust inside this enormous cosmic masterpiece.

The more our technology advances, the more of the universe we're able to see. Things that were always there—beautiful, enormous, extraordinary—just beyond the limits of our perception.

What else is there that we cannot see? ✦ you looked.

STARS grew out of wanting to bring together my love of astronomy, the ethereal beauty and seeming limitlessness of space, and words that make me stop and think about our place in all of it.

It's about noticing. It's about experiencing. Connecting to each other, to the world, to the universe. It's about what we choose to do with our tiny piece of the universe.

Each photo pairs a real, beautiful NASA space telescope image with a quote about the stars from someone whose words made me see something differently.

On the back, I added some additional information about the quote or the image, just for a little extra background info.

I hope they make you smile, make you think, and inspire a little more curiosity.
